I’ve spend countless hours tweaking my profile boxes, adding apps¹ and showing my support for whatever. I’ve finally got the perfect profile pic and can check for new notifications from anywhere, thanks to the Facebook iPhone app. I’m connected to loved ones in Iraq and friends from college who I never seem to have time to call. Thanks to Facebook, a glimpse into my life, complete with easy to upload photos, is posted for all the world to see. Facebook is a clean respectable tool for self-promotion. Is that what’s its really doing?
